The family chalet at Simbavati River Lodge was absolutely amazing. It had two cozy bedrooms and a bathroom, perfect for a family like ours. The balcony was a nice touch, and the seating area was so comfy. Loved the bathrobe!
Personally, I found the absence of a balcony in the suite a bit disappointing, but hey, that's just me. Others might still enjoy it!

The decoration at the lodge was charming and elegant, with a touch of African flair that made me feel truly immersed in the surroundings. The general areas, such as the lounge and dining area, were spacious and comfortable, allowing for relaxation and socializing with other guests. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people, with well-maintained paths and ramps, making it easy to navigate and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there to help with carrying my luggage or providing extra support for senior guests.

We had an amazing stay! The staff, including the lodge manager and our guide, were excellent. They went above and beyond to make our experience special. The food was extraordinary and the sunset snacks and drinks were a perfect touch. We had our own game vehicle with a knowledgeable guide and tracker, leading to unforgettable sightings. Dad's 80th birthday celebration was fantastic with a sunset champagne tasting and a dinner in the boma with dancing. We can't wait to come back!
Nothing to fault.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the amazing service at this stunning lodge. The complimentary airport transfer was super convenient and the afternoon safari was mind-blowing, with sightings of 4 of the big 5! Our guide and tracker were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout our stay, making us feel like we were at home away from home. The lodge itself was jaw-dropping, with luxurious tents, spotless facilities, and a breathtaking deck overlooking the river where we even witnessed a whole herd of elephants passing by. The food was delicious, the variety of drinks included in the package was a pleasant surprise, and the BBQ evening was a memorable experience. We can't wait to return one day to this unforgettable destination.
